Try your hand at tomahawk throwing, suitable for cubs, scouts, explorers adults
We are able to provide training in the use of the equipment for adults, through direct training, a one-day course (see shop above for more details)
Once training is completed you will be able to loan the equipment for use at your location or at our range at Avery Hill.
We can also run badge courses, Duke of Edinburgh award sessions, or Scout top awards, along with come-and-try-it sessions.
Risk assessments for the activity can be provided.
All throwers must be able to handle the equipment safely so this may not be suitable for beavers and some cubs
A permit is not required for this activity however you do need a minimum of 7 hours of personal experience and an understanding of the rules of the association in relation to tomahawk throwing.
